About Us

The Black Executive Director Alliance of Detroit (BEDAD) is a sought after resource and advocate for Black nonprofit executives. BEDAD is currently composed of over 20 Black nonprofit executives who lead youth development organizations.

Mission

The Black Executive Director Alliance of Detroit's (BEDAD) mission is to strengthen and develop Black Executive Directors of youth-serving organizations to achieve long-term, holistic impact on youth in Detroit and surrounding communities.

Vision

Black Executive Directors have equitable access to opportunities, resources and funding to lead thriving, sustainable organizations that holistically impact Black youth.
